When straps are tighten they protrude and look like mini-wings coming out of the shoes.

I really like these shoes—the construction and attention to detail are superb—but they felt about a half size too small and I returned them.

I bought four pair of shoe for my 90 year old Dad to try on and this is one of the two pair we are keeping. He likes the traction they give him and the ease of the velcro. He is in a small assisted living home and these are perfect for the caregivers to help him put on. He has two other Propet pairs of shoes that were neoprene and had slicker soles. He likes that these are sportier looking. Every time I stop by, he is wearing these, so I think they are his favorites ones.

Bought these for some Utah Mighty 5 national park sight seeing. Settled on the Velcro strap due to my knee and hip issues. Easy to put on and mostly comfortable to wear all day. Good grip on the soles walking in the parks. In fact I found that the shoe would grip to the rocks, but my foot would move around in the shoe on the more aggressive trails. It wasn’t horrible and I didn’t slip, but I did long for the ability to snuggly lace up a proper hiker. I went with the 5E. I maybe could have done better with the 3E, but a 4E would have been right. There is also a second insole in the shoes so I might play with the insoles. Overall satisfied. I have a number of Propet shoes my happy with. I’ll get my use out of the shoes here in Michigan where it’s mostly flat.

I really like the design of the shoes. Unfortunately I heave to return them. I wear a D width, and these shoes were marked D width, but they were so narrow they hurt my feet. In addition, the soles marked tile in my house. It’s hard to get the marks out. So much for the Propet Connelly Strap.

My second pair of this style. Velcro closure is easier to adjust than laces. Once adjusted, the shoe can be slipped on with a shoehorn allowing the strap adjustment to remain unchanged. Bought 15 – 5E, they are comfortable, but a little heavy.

These were ordered for my husband. He said they are very comfortable. True to fit. I myself not too impressed with the quality of the shoe, the material not as nice as other same priced shoes we have bought.

I have to buy two pair of shoes due to having a stroke. The right foot requires an AFO. Each pair fits fine. They are the one shoe that uses velcro instead of shoe lases. Works good when you have one hand.

Nice looking shoe. Very comfortable. Fit perfectly. Just love the shoe but had to send back. After I ordered found out I would need an ankle foot brace so I need an extra half size. Not a problem said Zappos. They issued a return for 3 prs shoes immediately and I ordered 3 The Propet Jace and Propet Stability walker all a 1/2 size larger at no extra shipping charge to me. Thank you Zappos. Excellent service.

If you won’t _need_ the straps, better to go with laces, as you get a slightly more tunable fit.
A great durable everyday shoe. Best for no or low activity; run as a running shoe caused significant wear on both the shoes and the feet.
