Just received shoes. They fit and are very comfortable. Hammer toes, bunions and corns don’t hurt. Okay with slacks. Wish they had Mary Jane style in this shoe material. Due to bunion right foot now WW width and left foot Wide. Shoe style allows me to adjust tightness very easily. Thank you. Got tired of wearing just Crocs. Will be buying another pair for someone with sensitive feet in different size.

I bought these for my chronically ill sister in law. She had been hospitalized and bed confined for five weeks. She needed shoes to start rehab, and had very swollen feet. These were great, as they open very wide on top and with the Velcro we could get her feet in them yet close them securely enough to feel like they would stay on. The non-slip bottom was essential for her. These were such a great find for her situation. They are great for anyone with swollen feet, and difficulty putting shoes on.

It’s funny I must have ordered and returned several shoes before I could actually keep one of them!? I used this particular shoe for outside. It fit around my bunions perfectly, so there’s no problem there except for the lack of arch support that made my feet hurt when wearing them for a long period of time. I was unable to find any ‘wide insert insoles’ for bunion friendly shoes here on the web site, so I’m thinking it’s very rare. New Customers: Before, you decide to purchase any Propet shoes: make sure to read reviews more carefully! Remember not all feet are created equal and the comfort of these shoes might be different on other people’s feet. I later found out the hard way! What made it difficult to wear at times is the insoles below my feet. It feels like I’m walking with a granite bar inside my shoes and later on, I couldn’t wait to take them off because the calluses were forming on the side of my toes. I’m hoping one of these days, Propet will make an excellent arch support and gel cushion for people with bunions. Also, if you don’t know what type of shoes that will accommodate your feet, make sure you do a ‘wet feet test’ before you purchase anything online. Now, I just have to find a very wide cushion insoles for this particular shoes with no such luck.

I bought these shoes for my mother-in-law who’s diabetic & her feet often swell such that she can only wear adjustable sandals. She loves these shoes. She raves about how comfortable they are.

I bought these shoes for my 98 yr old m-in-law. Overall, very pleased.Had to send back first pair for a larger size. Service was superb!

This house shoe was marginally acceptable. I have a long narrow foot that is hard to fit (9 1/2 N). It was my size. The heel was too wide, but if I stretched the velcro across tight enough I could walk in it.

Very comfy and not too unattractive shoe. Sturdy but lightweight. Ive got a very wide foot and this regular shoe that I can wear. Its adjustable too.

Recovering from a badly broken foot, transitioning into regular shoes, sometimes not a lot of direction in this phase. Knew I needed something that wouldn’t bend that I could wear in the house or outside. Foot still swelling too much to fit in regular shoe so ordered half size larger than normal. These turned out to be perfect as I could tighten Velcro tighter on one side and leave less tight on injured. Had super support. Better than the “medical shoe” doctor office gave me to transition and have matching! Recommend for anyone with foot issues.

These shoes will not win any prize for style, but they are so comfortable on my problematic feet. I hope they never quit making them. I bought half a size larger than usual because I will want to wear thick wool socks with them during the winter. I am going to use them for slippers, not to wear out in public. I am still vain at 68.

These were really great for my partner’s elderly mom. Easy to put on, very comfortable and supportive for her swollen feet.

Lately the balls of my feet have become sore and tender so I needed some help! My first find were the thickly cushioned Thorlo socks. They worked well but I needed more and found these slippers. They have truly helped me. I now walk and stand much more comfortably in the house. Just be sure to buy a larger than your normal size if you wear a thick sock. These are easy off and on, comfortable and not nearly as “matronly” looking as I feared.

Bought these for my mom who was in rehab and had major swelling in her feet. These were the best thing since slice bread. She is still wearing them and wants another pair. Wish they made them in other colors and with a little more “style” as well.

I bought these shoes for my mother. She loves them! She has trouble reaching down to lace or buckle shoes and she wanted a non-sandal shoe for winter that is easy to put on and comfortable and can fit the width of her feet comfortably. And these shoes does the job!

I liked these shoes when I first got them but then I had two issues come up. One, they made my feet stink really bad — very sour. I do not have foot odor normally so this was new to me. Second, the insoles started falling apart after only 1 1/2 to 2 months of wearing them. I don’t know how else to describe it except the layers of the insole started separating. The rest of the shoe is very well made. I really wanted these slippers to work out and I’m sorry that they didn’t. Back to the drawing board.

I bought these for my elderly Mom who has swelling in her feet. I bought a similar pair for my Dad last year and they were terrific! Something was lost in translation between the men’s and women’s version… the women’s opening is completely inflexible and narrow. I even bought a wider size than needed, and one size bigger, and she couldn’t even put them on with the velcro opened all the way. Would NOT recommend!
Patty –
Great shoes for arthritic feet and toe pain for right out of the box. I put in a better insole much room for that. I ordered another pair I liked them so much in a different color and very stylish with anything worn does not look like a medical ugly shoe

It runs small. Think about ordering at least a 1/2 size larger.
It fits to your foot. Has a nice non-slip sole.

Recovering from broken right foot, finally found a comfortable shoe to wear around the house with the Propet Cush’n Foot. The only thing I could get my foot into before was a hiking boot, and that was very sore by the end of the day. This is very easy to slip a swollen tender foot into, very wide opening when you open the velcro flaps. Very soft material, but a nice solid bottom/sole to keep foot stable. The only warning is that is does run very small. I normally take a 9-1/2 so ordered a 10 to accommodate swelling, I am going to send that pair back. Zappos customer service team was great, got a size 10-1/2 shipped to me that day and I had it the next day when I got home from work!!! Great job Zappos. I gave it 5 stars and was going to give it 3 stars for style, but changed my mind and gave it a 4 for style. It really doesn’t look that bad for an orthopedic shoe, they actually look better on than when you take out of box. At this point I don’t really care about the style, but I think when I’m fully recovered I’ll still wear these.

These shoes are perfect for my Mom that has edema and swelling in her feet. Easy to put on also.

I bought these for my 77 year old aunt to wear as she recovers from fairly major back surgery. She says they are very comfortable and stable. Aunt Toni is quite the fashionista and I was afraid they would look too old lady/orthopedic but she says that when paired with a current, stylish outfit they look great.

I wear a medium width. However the velcro did not reach around to close securely. I will be returning them.
Heather –
I am wearing these as house shoes. I wanted something that would keep my feet warm in winter and hold up to the wear of everyday use. I originally ordered wide, as I have wide feet and corrected bunions, and ended up exchanging the wide for a size 2E. However, I still feel that my foot is at the very edge of the plastic sole. I thought this would be uncomfortable, but I’ve been wearing the shoes for several weeks, and they are very comfortable. The pull-over velcro wrap allows me to perfectly snug these to my feet. The sole seemed slick when I took them out of the box, but I’ve actually found that the shoes provide the right amount of traction for walking around the house (wood floors and rugs).
Nancie –
The shoe is perfect for what I needed – a comfortable, lightweight shoe with a wide toe box. It’s not a beautiful shoe – but so incredibly comfy I hardly know I’m wearing it, and easily put on and taken off. Because the fabric they’re made of is thick, the shoes tend to be warmer than what I was expecting. That’s fine for this time of year, but we’ll have to see in the summer months. These are the first pair of shoes I’ve ever purchased from Zappos, and I must say I’m impressed!

I got these for my mom who has had swelling in her feet and she loves them. She has a very narrow size 8 1/2 foot, so I took the advice of others and ordered a half size up to a 9 narrow. She says they fit perfectly and has a much easier time getting shoes on.

Felt short; my toes were rubbing; next size not available at Zappos in Wide.
