OMG, these are so comfortable, and perfect for what I wanted (a light, spring-time walking shoe.)
FWIW, the Zappos size recommender worked perfectly for me. If you’re getting a recommended size that’s different from the one you typically wear, then go with it.

I got these for some summer walking shoes and they are as amazing as all of my Propet shoes! Wonderful neutral color and they give great support for the whole day. They don’t even rub the back of my ankle, needing a break in period.

WAs looking for a new walking shoe for hot weather. Flicker did the trick. So comfortable right from the start. No break in period needed. Highly recommended !

They’re like Keds for grownups! Love these, cute, comfortable and great for long walks.I wish they were available in red with the white stitching.

Comfy and cute. Great for shorts, jeans, and casual dresses.

I returned these because they’re a bit too nerdy and puffy looking. Also, they seem to run a half size too big.

Huge

I need a shoe that is extra wide in the forefoot but not wide everywhere else. These were far too wide for me everywhere else.

just didn’t fit

Well designed and fit perfectly will order again

Shoe fit well but once I walked I realized that it was making my ankles ache – it felt as if I had heavy boots on. I love the new sizing but this shoe is just too heavy for a tennis or walking shoe.

WW was really, really wide, even for my super-wides. Great shoes, though, so I’ll get a W.

I tried three sizes of these cute shoes, but couldn’t make any work. When the length was correct, the instep was too low. When the instep was high enough, the shoes were too long. Too bad for me.

I have wide feet and these are very comfortable and cute.

I love the style and color of these shoes, but they are cut very high, and were uncomfortably tight around my ankle, so I had to return them. Propet has been my favorite brand for years, because they have wide fittings and orthotic-friendly shoes, but lately I have found the sizing is weird – larger and wider than they used to be.

These turned out to be waaaay too wide at the heel. I have weird hobbit feet, super wide across the metatarsal span but small at the heel and ankles. Fabric upper wasn’t very nice, and wow does this brand REEK of benzene etc. And my misgivings about the ‘cuts’ in the bottom of the sole proved correct – seeing the shoe in person, it’s clear that this misguided design decision will hasten the deterioration of the sole. I also got the Propet TravelActiv in this order, and it fits MUCH better at the heel and also doesn’t have the dumb slits in the bottom of the sole. Unfortunately I ended up having to return those too, because the sole isn’t wide enough to accommodate the widest part of my feet – the upper is very stretchy and comfy so the shoe technically ‘fits’ but the left and right edges of the widest part of my feet stick out over the edge of the actual sole, creating a feeling of slight instability, not suitable for running in. Otherwise those are a good shoe, would recommend.

I ordered wide and the XX shoes still felt too tight, wish they fit!

These run very narrow. If you are used to buying a mesh-type sneaker that has a lot of give, note that these are old-school canvas and have no give at all. I wear an 11.5 W so I order the 12W, which normally gives me plenty of room – could barely get my foot into this shoe as it was so narrow. Returned.

I bought Propet shoes before without problem. I have a high instep and I could not get my foot into the sneaker. If I could have got my foot inside, I think it would have been wide enough.

very comfortable

These sneakers have the look and feel of the old-time canvas sneakers; not necessarily stylish but functional and utilitarian and comfortable for day to day wear. Feel a bit wider than usual across the toes but that prevents any pinch or squeeze — great!
