Husband loves these. Complains that his jeans are no too long, lol.
Advice to men: my husband thought he was a 10-10.5 but has always had foot, knee pain. Turns out he is a 9.5 Wide (these shoes are 3E). He wore them all weekend and admitted that his foot pain was practically gone. These are attractive, and stylish, and are NOT built to last. I’ve had mine for a month, and admittedly right now I’m wearing them as my primary shoes because it’s summer, and I work from home, and I can but I’ve already worn through the soles . . . in just over a month. Shoes shouldn’t have one element that just fails before the rest of the shoe has even shown meaningful wear and tear, but these do. The soles feel heavy duty and durable when you get them, and they absolutely are not. Would not purchase again.

Comfort. No chafing or rubbing. Cool. Smart and casual look. Easily adjusted for custom fit. It’s hard to see in the pic – the cord on top front allows custom adjustment. Just want I want for 3 season strolling and regular summer wear.

I have foot problems and this is the most comfortable sandal-like shoe I’ve ever worn. Also one of the few that is available in size 14 extra wide. The sole is supportive, the shoe easy to get on, yet there’s no sense it will ever slip off. Once again I can pass hot summer days without socks. And, for someone with such big feet, there are few shoes that look as stylish and attractive on me.

I’ve tried several different brands and sizes in extra wide sandals for my elderly father who has extremely swollen ankles and feet. This sandal is great-looking (it’s very hard to find an xxxxx wide sandal that also looks nice!), made well, and is the closest we’ve found to fitting him. If I had a suggestion for Propet, it would be to make the elastic adjustable (I may have to cut it out if it gets too binding), as well as the lacing all the way to the toe. This way, as feet swell (or not), the sandals would still provide a comfortable and safe fit. All in all, very happy to have finally found something Dad can wear!

My husband loved theses sandals. He kept saying how comfortable they were and how good they fit. That is big, my husband hates shoes and his feet always hurt, so for him to say that it was a success.

I really wanted to like these. The sizing was fine, the style was great. I am diabetic and I love the protective nature of fisherman’s sandals, I like the sturdy rubber toes and the openings for air. However, because I am diabetic I could not tolerate the textured foot bed. It hurt to wear and I do not think I would have gotten used to it. I am very disappointed to have to return these.

Fit very nicely. I call them my Spartacus sandals! Kirk Douglas wore them LOL. Actually very good sandal plenty of cushioning for foot and support. Happy with them

From the moment I put them on I was impressed, upper leather is soft and lined, comfortable, and having a hard time finding size 15 XXW these fit me prefect. It being too cold outside to wear I’ve been wearing them as slippers every night, very comfortable.

These sandals are very comfortable in all ways I needed. There is a disgusting odor which was evident from first opening the box. We have tried all ways to get rid of this smell of rotten fruit. The garage was overpowered within a few hours. Allowing the sandals to sit in direct sunlight would reduce the smell but it would return within a few hours. Apparently, washing might ruin the leather uppers but we may have to resort to that since wearing it around the house results in filling the bedroom or living room with the strange smell. Although they have not been worn outdoors, the boxes were smashed down for recycling and it may not be possible to return them. Comfort-wise, they apparently have resolved the foot pain they were meant to cure. Can anyone tell us what this awful smell is about? Will the chemical be harmful to the skin if the sandals are worn without socks? If the odor problem does not go away, these will have to be thrown out. A loss.

My husband found this to be a good fit and comfort rating is high. However, it came with an overpowering offensive odor which so far has not been resolved despite airing, putting under the sun in open air etc. It cannot be washed due to the leather uppers. Zappos issued a credit for the sandals. For the benefit of all, Zappos needs to take additional steps to notify Propet of the problem because Propet is a widely known brand for elderly customers who have special footwear needs. If Propet’s manufacturing practices are the cause, the problem must be addressed for health reasons.
