I am returning the most recent pair of Propet shoes (Lifewalker Sport) that I just bought, because they were too short. My toes were touching the end of the toe box. Over the past 30+ years, I have bought MANY pairs of Propet shoes in different styles, because they have always fit my feet and they have held up well. ALL my previous Propet shoes, including a pair that I bought less than a year ago in a slightly different style, have been 6 1/2W, and have fit me perfectly. But the most recent shoes I bought, the Propet Lifewalker Sport, 6 1/2W, are too short in the toe box. The toe box of this style is rounded, not pointed, but it has the same amount of rounding as many Propet shoes I have bought in size 6 1/2W in the past. I exchanged the current pair for the same style in 7W, which fits fine. Buyers should be aware that this style of shoe may run short.

As soon as I took these shoes out of the box, I could just tell these shoes would be too small for me (which is a first, because most are too big for me). I have custom orthotics that fit well in every size 5.5 shoe I use them, but these shoes were too short and narrow to accommodate them. Therefore, back they go. So disappointed because they seemed of good quality, and the price was right.

I really hoped that these shoes were a keeper. They’re very attractive and are more appealing for me over athletic shoes all of the time, the light gray looked good and it’s leather. I wore them around the house on the carpet for several hours, but it turned out they were too narrow, even in a 4E and started hurting my feet. I wear an 2E Extra Wide in Brooks and New Balance. Sadly, I am unable to wear Propet because their shoes are made for narrow to normal feet; not wide ones.

I ordered a 6.5 Narrow and found that, while the narrow width was correct, the length was MUCH too short. I exchanged them for a size 7 Narrow, and the length was still too short. Given that I typically wear a 6.5 N, I am concerned that a 7.5 N just wouldn’t fit. But I like the style/looks of the shoe and would order a 7.5 N, but it is out of stock.

I LOVE THESE SHOES! Perfect fit, comfort, and price is great too! I have structural damage that requires a good fit and support to the arches of my feet. These shoes are a dream to wear. I wear them everyday. The material they are made of wears very well. Don’t change ANYTHING! Thank you!!

I love the pair of Propet Lifewalker Sport shoes I bought in a size 9.5 4E.
They are the perfect width and the perfect length.
I wear them as walking shoes and, because they are black, I even wear them with dressy black pants.
I plan to order another pair just to have on hand in case they decide to discontinue this style.

These shoes fit and seemed comfortable, but they made so much creaky noise when I walked that I felt I could not get used to it and would feel constantly embarrassed wearing them. I don’t know if this sound would decrease with time, but I wouldn’t have the patience to try. I also didn’t care for the teeny shoelaces.

I returned these shoes. Although the fit was okay I don’t think they were leather and I try not to purchase anything made in China. Kudos to Zappos
for the ease of returning as always. I have shopped at Zappos for over 20 years and they never disappoint.

I have long narrow feet. This problem is not limited to this shoe; I have had the same issue with the cheaper New Balance styles. The shoe is long enough but not narrow enough in the heel. My foot slides forward and my toes get pinched, making the shoe feel too small and impossible to walk in.

Nice shoes, but were too short for me. Gave them to my mom. They work for her, but she normally wears a size and a half smaller.

I normally order a 7 wide in sneakers. These were so small my toes were touching the end. I couldn’t tell if they were actually wide because they were so tight I had to get them off my feet

This shoe looks attractive in a soft grey leather, but the fit is too short by a full size, and the toebox is too narrow and crowds my foot. The lacing is done through flat fabric loops and is very tedious to get it relaced after putting it on, especially for anyone with arthritis. Regular eyelets would be a big improvement. Even after removing the footbed. my orhotics could not be fit in their place, a problem that never occurs with other shoes. I will not buy this brand again and returned these the day they were received. The laces match the color of the shoe, but are not available from the maker if they ever need replacing. I gave it 2 stars for price and looks.

These shoes are terrible. I have other Propet shoes in 8B that are, if anything, a bit loose/wide on my foot. These shoes hurt my feet no matter how loosely I tied them. They start off sort of okay, then the pain starts in various parts of my feet. They look extremely cheap. The “leather” they are supposedly made of more resembles plastic than anything. The construction and finishing is shoddy (which I had noticed with my previous Propets as well) . Unforunately, I really needed this pair of shoes, so I kept trying and wore them outside several times, so I can’t return them. sending them to Goodwill, although I feel a little guilty inflicting them on someone else. No more Propet for me.

The shoe is very comfortable under the foot but I ordered a wide and they not only look narrow, as if they were a regular not a wide, but definitely feel narrow. I will be reordering an extra wide and hope they work out.

These are very comfortable and really supportive without squashing my feet. I can easily put my orthotic inserts in them (have to remove the liner bed thing).
