Glad to have these! Fit is good. The color is cheery without being garish/childish. Faux fur feels comfy. Insole is OK, but not plush.
The only recommendation I’d make to the manufacturer/designer is to have the gussets/tongues be full bellows gussets to avert snow from getting inside. It would be worth an extra few bucks to actually use these in deeper snow. (Hence the 4 vs 5 stars in the Overall category.)

I am really disappointed in these shoes. I was looking for a wide toe box and was amazing when I got these. They are very comfortable and I wore them out once in 10 degree weather without a problem. The second time I wore them in 3 inches of snow and got wet socks. What a waste! I want to return these but had already thrown out the box.

The toe area is not well insulated for extended outdoor wear but they’re great for walking from the car, through snowy parking lots to a building.

Initial impression of these boots was that they were perfect, but after wearing them around my house for a bit, I ended up with my feet aching. The interior sole of the shoe is already molded, and the insole itself was not comfortable/did not have enough padding/arch support. My feet were not having it so I had to sadly return these.

I have been very happy with these boots so far. I got these in late 2017 for working on my farm in Michigan, so they have been getting plenty of heavy use. I usually have to wear an 8 in normal shoes to accommodate my slightly wide feet, one of which has a bunion. I got these in a 7.5 and there is plenty of room, even with extra thick socks. As long as my socks have been appropriate to the weather, my feet don’t get cold unless I’m out in the snow for a long time. They have been perfectly dry, no leaking or wet feet. They seem pretty tough, I’ve worn them near every day for the last 2 months, around my pigs that often try and chew on my feet for no discernable reason — no damage to the shoes yet, although I have had to replace the laces as a result of piglets pulling on them with their teeth.

I have used these boots a couple of times now in the snow and wintry slush and have yet to have moisture seep into the boots. They keep my feet and lower legs very toasty and are pretty comfortable to wear for long periods. They can start to feel heavy after a period of time and since the bottom portion is very molded, it can feel stiff and is not at all flexible. I do like that it is a lace up boot since it can accommodate larger calves, but I don’t like how easily the laces can come untied and sometimes the tongue will shift around since it isn’t attached to the laces anywhere. It was a bit larger than I expected, but I loved how roomy it was around the toes which is where I typically have problems with wide width shoes never being wide enough so I decided to keep them anyway. Just as an aside, they do make your feet look a little bigger than you expect, probably because it does run a little large.

Returned the boot because it was too heavy and uncomfortable to walk in. It felt true to size. The inside felt very warm and I was sorry I had to return it, but I can’t walk in heavy boots. I was able to find a similar boot that was lighter in weight that I purchased.

This was true to size. I believe. It was just a bit bulky, Clunky and not really attractive looking. Looks like men shoes. But warm and roomy.

Perfect. I wore them in a Maine winter storm, shoveling snow for hours over days, and was so warm. We had to wear Yak Tracks on ice and they were perfect. We also took many frozen lake walks and again, perfect comfort. I even wore them on the plane to and from because they’re huge boots and I didn’t want to pack them – again, super comfortable.

Midwest comfy, cozy, dry in blizzards! I have searched and searched desperately for boots not hurting my ankle plate and screws. I did size up to 10D from 9D to accommodate my ankle and thick ski socks. Both the berry and black were perfect for our Midwest record snows. Despite the temps my feet were NEVER cold or wet. I am forever grateful to find these work horse boots. The tread provides gripping on winter treks.

The fuzz on the back of the shoe is SO SOFT! I got them wide because I’ll be wearing thick socks in the winter of course, and it’s perfect. I’m a 9.5 in all shoe sizes and it feels a big big in the toe, but that might just be because I got the wide style. Tested and it is DEFINITELY waterproof! Very happy with my purchase!

Not happy with these. Tongue in front is painful when I walk. It’s attached to the boot on either side with thick material that pushes onto your shin. So sad because it’s hard to find them in XW. I tried the short ones as well, and same issue.

I loved the boot hated the part in the back with soft material. I wanted the whole boot to be waterproof for snow. I live in New England I need my snow boots to be completely waterproof …

These boots fit me perfectly. I normally wear a 10, but I purchased a wide so I bought a 9.5 (really could have done a 9), but it’ll work out well with thick socks or 2 pairs of normal socks. I really love the red color and the boots are very sturdy. I will update this review once I wear them in wet weather. Right, I love them.

I wasn’t sure that a company that doesn’t specialize in hiking/winter boots would make a rugged enough boot for a Boston winter (snow/ice/slush/deep puddles). But these boots are great! Very waterproof, very warm, excellent traction on ice. I’m really impressed. They’re comfy too – I walked 11 miles in them today without any issues. The foot part does look huge and I am not a fan of furry tops on snow boots (the snow clings to the fur and then drops down your boot) but that’s ok given how comfy, waterproof and grippy they are. The top of the shaft reaches the bottom of my calf muscle which is a good height for me. I’m a 7-7.5D in shoes and the 7.5D fits me best.

I was worried these weren’t going to be wide enough when I first got them and turned them upside down but once I got my feet in them I was surprised by how roomy they were. My only complaints are that the tongues are always twisted to the side rather than straight and that my particular pair has some random blue dye in the white and black portion on the back of the heel / lower calf. I also have a slight discomfort in the interior heel of my right foot. I don’t know if it’s just because they’re new or if there’s some type of imperfection there. Either way it’s not a major issue / nothing to write home about. Good price too. I’m pleased.

I read the other reviews on here and ordered anyway. As someone with a wide foot, all the complaints felt like things I could write about most “normal” sized shoes. I concluded that people aren’t used to shoes not fitting. I am. These shoes fit my short wide feet just fine. They are rugged, waterproof, and attractive. I used them in deep Maine winter on piles of ice and snow both on land and frozen lakes and in light February-March slush on DC sidewalks and they are perfect. Very warm, unexpectedly good support for a winter boot, and all around great value. Looks as it does in the picture.

I never write reviews, I get my shoes and move on with my life. But I had to take the time to say how thrilled I am with these wide width boots. My entire adult life I have bought regular width boots in a size or 1.5 sizes larger than I need because the width never fit. I have finally found these boots, they are relatively stylish, good quality, reasonably priced and perfect for the snowy Minneapolis winters. I got they grey color and they are really nice. The fuzzy furry bit at the top lines the entire boot, which is a nice touch. If you are on the fence and have a wide foot like myself, I don’t think you will be disappointed.

Great fit for my very wide and very flat feet. They felt comfortable from the second I put them on (shoes almost never do). Good grip on snow and ice, very warm–now my feet are warmer than my legs!–and there’s a lot of freedom in the laces to pull the boots tighter where you need them and looser where you don’t.

I’m particular about fit and these are great. I have bunions & so am fussy about boots that don’t pinch across my forefoot &/or will stretch into shape eventually. Plus I wear orthotic inserts and they need to accommodate them. I ordered 8.5W and they are plenty roomy with thick socks. But not too huge in the heel which is usually my issue with wide shoes. (I’m normally 8 or 8.5 in most shoes). So far they are super warm and I’ve worn them for several long walks in the woods and they’ve been warm & comfortable with no break-in period. They are a bit heavier than I would have expected but the sole does flex enough for comfortable walking. So far I’m super happy with them and they look about as stylish as you’d expect a rubber soled winter boot to look, which is to say, not very! But it’s 2020 so where am I going anyway?

I wear a women’s 10.5 wide and I need some arch support. It is very difficult to find shoes that fit. Every shoe maker has different lengths and widths to go with their version of a size 10.5 shoe. It is disappointing that Zappos and the shoe manufacturers cannot come up with standardized sizing that reflects width and length the way that some blue jeans makers do. For example if you asked my husband what size pants he wears he would say, “I have a 33″ waist and a 34″ inseam”. Why can’t we have shoe sizes that are 28 centimeters long by 11 centimeters wide (at the ball of the foot)?
That being said, I ordered women’s and men’s boots from Columbia, Baffin, Sorrel, Kamik, Propet and Pajar. Here are my thoughts:
-Men’s Columbia boots are better made then Women’s Columbia boots, they have better lining/padding, better arch support and sturdier materials. The women’s are more attractive. Both Men’s and Women’s Columbia boots in medium width are too narrow for me. The Women’s wide were wider then the medium but not wide enough. The men’s wide were wider but not by much. The Bugaboot III Wide is on my short list of desired boots, but I need one size up and they are currently out of stock. It was a little stiff but had good warmth/lining and good arch support.
-Baffin boots were dreamy comfy. Amazing lining; soft and warm. Sturdy exterior, not too heavy. Sadly, these boots run almost 2 sizes smaller then the average boot. So, if you are looking at trying the Baffin I would recommend sizing up at least 1.5 sizes up.
-Sorel boots have some good features, but not all Sorels are made equal. I ordered both the Caribou Wool and the 1964 Pac Nylon. The Caribou Wool was by far more comfortable and warm. Please note they also seem to run small, consider sizing up. I ordered the D width and found them on the narrow side. I am exchanging for a size up and hoping to gain a little more wiggle room in the width. Fingers crossed.
-Propet women’s boots were cute and I appreciated the width that they offered. If you have wide feet and width is your biggest concern I would recommend giving these a try. I did find them lacking in arch support and lining for warmth. But a thumbs up for style.
-Kamik men’s boot were interesting but also did not find the arch support I was looking for.
-Pajar boot – I ordered at men’s 42, they were too small but I liked their potential so I am exchanging for size 43. I really wanted to try the 44 but for some reason in both styles they were out of 44. Finger crossed for the 43 to fit.
I hope that overview helped. I really appreciate the comments that other people write. It helps me figure out whether or not to give a shoe/boot a try. Thanks to everyone out there that takes a minute to write feedback. It is a big help!

I don’t usually write reviews but for these boots I just had to. I have wide feet and have trouble finding boots that fit. After trying 5 different boots these boots fit perfectly! They are SO comfortable! They are also really warm, and waterproof too. I can’t recommend them highly enough!

The fit was great on these. For once I have room for my toes and warm socks! I have very wide feet and rarely get to wear cute styles. I’m so excited to have found the balance of comfort, style, and warmth! The fur lining goes all the way through the boot. I did insert my own shearling insole for extra comfort, although I don’t think this is necessary. I was able to shovel outside for an hour in 20 degree weather and my feet were warm and dry. Thanks Zappos!

I have wide toe “bed” and these EEx finally fit me. Super cute and warm.

Great boots for snow. Warm, easy to lace up, great traction. Love the red color. Use my own insoles- no arch support with the existing ones. Living in VT these fit out to the test this past winter and they passed with flying colors. So glad to find WW winter boots that are really extra wide.
