As much as I am not the biggest fan of mary jane shoes, beside for sneakers, they are the only shoes that fit my feet, since I need a large size and lots of room in front. These are very comfortable and lightweight, and are on the nicer looking side.

This shoe is not as substantial as I was looking for. It seems a bit light weight–don’t know how it would do on rocks, cobblestones, or Ancient Roman streets. But it is comfortable and attractive enough (I got the black/gray combination) that I can wear it to work. I also have a very high instep and at first I worried that the Velcro wasn’t strong enough, but it seems fine. In my job I do a lot of sitting and then popping up and dashing around madly and then sitting again. The shoe is comfortable during the dashing around and it is easy enough to get on and off that I can take it off when I am at my desk.

Very light but comfortable. I ordered the grey Black. I like the way the fabrics stretches as I prefer to wears Sandles but on a cold day I need a little toe coverage. The strap is elastic and gives. Don’t know if over time that will be a problem. The stretch does make it easy to slip off with out bending down but it not be a good option if you walk fast or need extra support especially in the arch.

I was looking for a casual shoe that was different from an athletic shoe, AND had removable insoles to accommodate an orthotic. I chose these plus the Aravon Wembly Mary Jane. I returned this Propet style because I felt that the sides had too much “give”. I’m a medium width, but these are so soft that my foot looked like a WW! The fabric is “sweatshirt soft” with little support. Having an adjustable strap PLUS elastic just allows too much stretch, in my opinion. I hate to penalize a shoe because it’s too comfortable, but this one just didn’t fit my needs. However, if you have bunion issues, this may be the shoe for you.

I have a narrow heel, yet need a wide box in the front. These fit perfectly right out of the box! And they are cute, not at all clunky, which I wondered about when I ordered them. The fabric is so flexible that it doesn’t press on any spots that typically hurt. I even was able to wear the D width instead of the wider ones, which is typically the case. Highly recommend if you have bunions or crazy toe issues. A very forgiving design and fabric.

Having had foot surgery 6 months ago (bunion, sesamoid bone removal, and bone spur removal at top midfoot), I was still unable to comfortably wear any shoes other than athletic shoes with firm support (still extra wide). I longed for a casual shoe that I could wear with capris, casual dresses, etc. I tried a number of different brands, including SAS and Clarks — good quality shoes, but there was always some little thing that made them a bit uncomfortable (usually pressing in the bunion area, although the bunion was gone). I was skeptical when I ordered these Propet Onalees, because some of the reviews mentioned poor support, but I liked the looks of this shoe (I got it in the denim/grey color) and decided to try it (after all, nothing to lose because of Zappos amazing return policy). I was happily surprised when I tried them on, and they actually felt comfortable on my bad foot — fit like a soft glove and didn’t press anywhere. Here is what else I liked about these shoes: 1) The Mary Jane style and the elastic band at the top allowed me to tighten my good foot more (it is not as wide as my bad foot) so that the shoe did not flop around, while at the same time allowing a looser fit on my wide bad foot, which often still swells. 2) The removable insoles (there are actually two of them, so you can allow more or less room if you need to put in your own orthotics) allowed me to slip in my own orthotic insoles and provide the extra firmness and support that I needed. I do not know if this elastic band may stretch out in time, but I will not be wearing these shoes all the time anyway, so I am thinking it should not. I would recommend this shoe to anyone who has bunion issues (I got a size 8 1/2W, and it fit true to size). I will probably be getting at least one other pair of these shoes in a different color.

I have very wide feet, as well as needing bone fusion in two joints in my left foot. I LOVE these shoes. Easy to put on with no pain, The sole is thick enough that when I am walking on even surfaces I experience very little pain. I have both the red pair and the silver /gray pair and have received many compliments…not something I often get for my comfortable shoes.

Great lightweight shoe to pack in a suitcase. Easy on and easy off. Supportive and the strap keeps them securely on your foot. Has been a good walking shoe for me when I travel I wish they were completely dark black, but they’re pretty cute and I get compliments on them.

I have a lot of issues with feet, having been in a car accident, along with them being flat, narrow, and a size 11! I tried these shoes for a something I could wear to work with a casual dress, and they’ve been great. The one day I wore them out walking, my feet did hurt, but
I don’t wear my orthotics with them. I would recommend them as they have a lot of support on their own. I bought size 11N and they fit great!

I love this shoe.
I needed a shoe that was extra wide and a size 12. Found them. I bought them for work.
I stand on my feet 7 to 8 hours a day. These shoes did give not one blister or no rubbing.did not feet fatigue at the end of the day. I am going to order another pair. Can not wait to have them

This stylish Mary Jane walking shoe is just the right shoe. One of the few testimonials I read told me they gave comfort to the “bunions” and until I have surgery this shoe is the BEST. I’m sorry I didn’t get the 2nd pair. I will do so in the next couple of months. I need the black or blue w/silver. Unfortunately, black was out of stock! I have trouble finding 12W. I appreciate the fact that you sell my size/width. Thank you for selling a great product with comfort and support for my walking ways! Terri

Love these! It’s hard to find a comfortable pair of shoes with wide feet. Fit great and great arch support.

What a find for me with my hammer toe! Shoes are super comfortable stylish for a diabetic shoe. I do not have diabetes but doctor suggest a shoe with removable insole to add extra space so as not to irritate toe. Love this brand–lots of choices that are not orthopedic looking!

I ordered these in the red/silver color because I thought they were so cute. I have ortho insoles, so it’s hard to find cute shoes with removable insoles. These were super comfortable right away, and I’ll bet they’re as comfortable just as they are if you don’t need to switch out the insoles. I wore them all day the first day and my feet felt great. I highly recommend these!

I have very hard-to-fit feet (wide in front, narrow in back, super high arches plus bulky orthotics) and have unfortunately had to send back most of the shoes I’ve ordered from Zappos over the years. However, I’m excited to say that this shoe is a keeper, extremely comfortable right out of the box! The front of the shoe is roomy enough for my wide forefoot (I ordered 8.5W), and the back has elastic to adhere to my narrow heel. But best of all is the double insole–one on top for people without orthotics, and a second insole below that beautifully accommodates orthotics. Both insoles are removable. Genius! This is my first pair of Propets , so maybe they all come like this; I’ll have to order more to see : )

This is my second pair of Propet Mary Janes. I’ve traveled all over Europe in my previous pair without pain or a misstep. They are lightweight, easy to pack, and are easy to pop on and off. Our next trip is coming soon and I’m confident I have another great pair of sight seeing shoes!

I bought these for my 94 year old Grandma. She has a sore right on her ankle bone, which causes significant swelling, so finding her shoes that don’t rub that spot and that accommodate both feet sizes is a challenge. She’s visually impaired as well, so getting her shoes on and off needs to be easy. These shoes were exactly what we needed. They are lightweight, grippy and have a simple elastic strap that she’s able to work herself. She also has higher arches so these gave her good support where she needed it. So happy!

If you need support, this shoe has no support whatsoever. Otherwise a very nice shoe and perfect fit.

Love them. I have chemo-induced neuropathy in my feet. These shoes provide excellent support as I work toward regaining my mobility.

I received the shoes & one shoe had something on the bottom. This is the second shipment that the shoes had obviously been tried on and not cleaned or disinfected before selling to another customer. I am completely disappointed in Zappos. I have bought several pairs of shoes from Zappos in the past but I guess I am done.

Zero support in this shoe which seems far more a slipper than a shoe.
I own another Propet shoe design with much the same problem. Although I love
the color and the look the shoe is unwearable because there is absolutely no support,
apparently a trait of this brand.

Fit seemed big, not as much arch support as I was looking for. I suffer heel pain also and wasn’t enough cushioning. Very lightweight and easy to take on and off.

I have this style in every color. Just came back from a Europe river cruise and wore the black almost every day. I walked over 10.000 steps a day over coble stones and feet did not hurt. I wear either 8 1/5 or 9. In this shoe I am am a definite 8 1/2.
I have bunions and a crossed toe. This show can accommodate foot imperfection.

So comfortable – wear them all day and no foot pain. This is important as bunions have become an issue More stylish than regular sneakers.

Comfortable right out of the box. Fits my narrow heel without slipping. Shows some toe cleavage. I will order in another color.
