Henry P –
Great looking shoe. I wear a 4E and for some crazy reason I thought I might be comfortable in a 3E… I was wrong. Length was fine. I’ll be searching for the 4E…
Doug H –
Probably one the most comfortable shoes in this style I have worn. I took a chance and ordered them in a 3E because that’s all that was available (I normally wear a 4E) and they fit perfect.
Bill S –
I really can’t adequately rate the product as it does not fit. I take a WIDE shoe and this shoe was labeled 5E. Other shoes that are typically 4E fit fine. This was quite narrow. Need to return it. Unfortunately, I don’t see a shoe of this type in my size.
Kathy A –
Love the shoe but the toe area is tight and I ordered a size 13 5E. Afraid they won’t give any. So I am returning. I have wide feet and have a very difficult time in finding shoes that fit. I will keep trying though…
Michael E –
While low cut this has a very sturdy sole. Feels almost like a hiking boot, except for the low cut. This is exactly what I was looking for, but if you are looking for a more shoe like walker then try something like the New Balance MW769v1. If you are looking for a sturdy walker with a firm sole then this is a good choice.
Morrie –
Love ’em, good fit, very comfortable.

I normally wear an 11.5EW, but several reviewers indicated that these shoes run small. Also, the toes are somewhat pointed. So, I ordered both pair in size 12EX and they fit OK. Thank you previous reviewers!

5E fit good, if my foot was 2″ shorter it would be a Hoof Thank you Zappos for having wide sizes

Well-built walking shoe. Takes a few days to break in. Be sure to use all the lace-holes or heel can slip. Very stable, surprisingly light for a big shoe, plenty of toe room. Highly recommend.

I love them! They feel like a new set of tires! Due to the price though, I’m forced to order my next two pairs each over the next 2 consecutive months. I’m retired and on fixed income. I have 3rd degree flatness in my left foot, and 2nd degree flatness in my right. These new Propets are my orthopaedic, podiatry feet savers. With them, at age 65, I can stand on my feet outdoors doing yardwork or woodwork construction, most indefinitely and not feel tired. Though, I will use this pair exclusively for walking (Fitness). My next new pair will be used to run errands (shopping, movie theaters, visiting, dining). And my last pair, will be used for work around the house, inside and out. The pair I tossed today was a Propet of 4.5 years ago. Their treads were completely gone. I mean flat! My remaining other two pairs were purchased afterwards. They still possess an appreciable amount of treads, but inside lacks good arch support. And without my arch supports, my feet will begin to feel tired first, and then my body. I finally realize I ought to be buying a new pair once every 2 years, depending upon their individual condition. I pray these shoes will stay in business forever! Thank you Propet People!

This shoe is pretty darn good! On all my shoes I have to put a 1/2 in lift on my left one . I just took it into have that done , so we’ll see how it comes out but it felt good even without the lift .

I regularly wear size 10 EEE shoes. I ordered this shoe size 10 5E and it was way too small, even though the shoe indicated the size I ordered. It felt more like a 9 C. Fit was WAY off.
Tim –
I bought 5E because it said they ran small. These are super comfy and fit like a glove without being too tight. They are very good in the snow and definitely keep your feet warm and dry.

The waterproof membrane sounds like you are walking on rice Krispies. Constant “crunch, crunch, crunch.” Not good if you are trying to sneak up on wildlife of just enjoy a quiet walk. Had the same problem with the Columbia Redmond V2 waterproof. Would not recommend if you like quiet.
Russ –
I wore these today for the first time. Im on my feet a lot. I work long hours. They were comfortable all day. No issues!
Jennifer –
They fit perfectly. We would highly recommend these low-rise hiking boots. We give them 4 thumbs up and 10 stars.

Bought for husband. He LOVES them! Look good too.

I have had the Propet Ridge Walker for 9 months and I strongly endorse them as a waterproof low cut hiking shoe. I regularly use them as golf shoes on soggy muddy courses. I found the width and length to be true to industry sizing for my 10 D size. I purchased the Propet Ridge Walker after my Keen waterproof hiking shoes began leaking profusely. I dont think you will beat the Propet shoes on a price-for-feature comparison.

I finally found a shoe that looks good, feels good & may last as long as the last pair of “Skechers” I have worn for almost two years.
Lisa –
I purchased these for my husband. They were entirely too small and unfortunately had to go back; otherwise, they would probably have been comfortable. They look great and appear to be well made; however, the sizing seemed to be way off.

I have had these for about 18 months and would buy them again. They have held up to some heavy use doing yard work, and also work well in snow and ice (though your ankles aren’t as protected as with full boots of course). I also use them for just walking around in the colder months. The triple wide width is great for not scrunching my toes during yard work.
They show a little wear, but I expect to get at least 3 years out of this pair, if not longer.

My husband has wide feet and it is difficult to find shoes for everyday use out here in the country. Thank you for carrying a variety of shoes and styles in his width.
Stephen –
Overall this shoe is very nice – good quality and styling and ran true to size. Unfortunately, I need something wider and ended up getting a 4E in a different style shoe.

They fit exactly as described. I like the fact that they are waterproof and I can wear them whenever I want and not have to worry about ruining them.

Took a couple of tries to narrow in on the size—they’re a bit narrower than my other style of Propet—but I got there in the end, and they are a great pair of shoes. I walk quite a bit, and it can be wet in the coastal area where I live. The shoes are comfortable, good grip, and seem to be wearing well. Recommended.
