Hard To Fit Challenge –
My son is extremely hard to fit properly as his size is 7.5 5E, Short and Very Wide. Additionally he is physically and mentally disabled. He cannot and will never be able to tie shoelaces. I have literally found (after years of searching both online and off) that ONLY Propet has addressed the unique problem that fitting Patrick poses. The unusual size AND the Velcro closures are just the ticket to giving him one more little bit of independence. I actually bought him 3 different styles in the Propet line from Zappos on this order because no one else stocked Pat’s size (in Velcro) anywhere online or off. So my appreciation goes out to BOTH Propet AND Zappos for stepping up to the plate and delivering. We are customers for life! BTW, these shoes break in to a very flexible fit.

My husband has trouble tying his shoes and keeping them tied due to Parkinson’s disease and the dyskinesia that is part of the disease. He is delighted with the velcro model and does not need my help getting in and out of his shoes anymore. He needed a triple E width and the fit is just perfect. We are very happy with this solution.

Wonderful Shoes – unbelievable service and shipping –
This was the second pair I ordered. The first pair was a size too large. Shipping was FAST! I had ordered normal shipping but was given 2 day shipping as an upgrade. As to the shoes, these are great. I am a 6’+ diebetic with a 5-6E width foot. It’s next to impossible to find shoes to fit (let alone be comfortable). These fit and work great and they don’t look clunky. If my ankles swell, they’re easy to readjust on the fly. Way to go Propet! Thank you Zappos.

Shoes for my Dad-
The Propét Scandia Velcro® Closure shoes I purchased for my dad are fantastic, he is 89 yrs old and has lost his central vision so the velcro closure is a must and the extra wide 3E fits him perfect. He walks almost everyday around a city park and puts in about 12 miles a week, so cushioning and comfort is a must and these shoes deliver that. Attractive, Classy, Well-Made, Zero Arch Support –
Wear a triple E and this Propet in wide size fit great. I have the dark brown, which almost has a hint of maroon to it and will be a very versatile performer as it will go with almost any color other than gray or black.
Not a shoe for those with high arches who have to stand a lot at work, no arch support. Classy styling and obviously well-made, comfortable esp. for those without high arches.

Great for wide feet!
I ordered these shoes for my dad. He has health problems and medicines that make his already wide feet even WIDER! It is next to impossible to find shoes that look good, feel good, and make it easier for him to get them on. This is his second pair. The first pair lasted a LONG time and it was basically the only pair he wore. They look nice and the velcro makes it easier for him to deal with. Zappos makes it easier to deal with hard to fit people as well. They are a bit more expensive but if the shoes don’t fit you can just send them back until you find something that does. My dad is in bad health and he can’t hold up to go shoe shopping. This is wonderful for him!

Great shoe –
I have nerve damage in my feet, so comfort is essential. With these shoes I can walk more. I just bought a new year after the old ones began to wear out — they lasted several years of constant use. These shoes are nice enough that I can get away with wearing them in the office (at least with the extra leeway I get because I use a cane). My feet also swell a lot over the course of the day, and by adjusting the strap I get a good fit over the full size range.

A perfect fit –
I usually buy shoes with straps because I have Diabetes and my feet tend to swell on occasion. Of all the shoes with a strap in my possession, this pair that I recently purchased has to be the best shoes that I have ever worn. They are extremely comfortable and make for a wonderful walking shoe. With Diabetes or not, I highly recommend these shoes.

I purchased these shoes for my father. He has a very hard time finding shoes that will fit his very swollen feet. I thought he was going to cry when he put these shoes on. These are great quality shoes, very well made and very comfortable with great cushioned soles! Unfortunately I have very wide feet and normally wear 5E- these are a bit too wide for me and I will have to try the next size which is 3E. Hopefully they will fit, as these are very nice shoes!!

Fit and size excellent. When I broke my foot, I got the same shoe for the first time, but one half size larger. It was perfect at the time. I knew I liked the shoe, but after the difficulties of the break subsided (mostly swelling), the larger size was too large. This shoe is perfect for my needs now, and it’s my daily go-to shoe of choice.
