Nick –
Usually order 4e width in shoes and ordered 5e in these boots. They were way to narrow even being 5e. Had to return.

These would have been great except they felt a little short and were definitely not as wide as marked. My toes felt pinched and were uncomfortable.

My experience will be different than most. These are the widest work boot I could find, but I still had to stretch them. It took about 4 days, but they fit great now! The toe part won’t stretch (because of hardened toes) but the ball of the foot gave me close to an extra half inch.

satisfactory

Reading reviews just shows how every foot is different. I found these are too long for my feet at my normal size.
They appear to be great work boot.
I can find no fault other than ordering a half size shorter, at least for my feet.
BigPoppa –
Clunky and chunky but they ain’t hunky

I think the sizes run a bit bigger in length but no reason to replace them. They were my third pair and your company was extremely helpful in finding something that would work best for me.

These boots are amazing. They are light weight. They look good. They fit perfectly. I am so glad that I bought them. I am on my feet for 10 hours straight through. These boots are up to the challenge.

These are very attractive boots, but I don’t buy for appearance. I look for safety, comfort and quality. There’s very little information in the box about the shoes, other than that they have composite toes, and are waterproof and slip-resistant. Since there wasn’t a 14w, I ended up with 14m, and that was the fatal blow.
These shoes are true to length but run narrow. Normally I wear a 13M but, because of the composite toe taking up so much space in the toebox of most brands, I ordered a size up. It didn’t help; the shoebox was rubbing both sides of my toes, so I recommend that people try to order a size wider rather than longer (good luck finding it a size wider).
The outsoles are very, very rugged looking, have a firm but rubbery texture that suggests good grip, and thus would probably work well in a wide variety of situations. I can easily imagine them being great for rock hiking. Unfortunately, they didn’t provide the test results, so it’s mystery as to how well they handle wet/icy/greasy/oily surfaces. This isn’t unusual – I’ve only seen such info with Timberland Pro products I’ve tried.
The shaft squeezes tightly around the ankle – even loosening the laces didn’t alleviate that pressure fully. I’m also not entirely sure that they’ll easily stay tied – the laces seem like the type that might spontaneously untie, although I can’t say for sure.
The insoles are more comfortable than most of the other brands and models I’ve tried, although the comfort depth (how far you can push it down) is relatively shallow (but still one of the better ones).
Returning.

I wear a 4E and safety shoes that size don’t break in easily so I went 5E and that seemed to do the trick. They felt great from the first. It’ll take a bit to break them in, but I think this’ll work.

These boots have ok cushion/arch support, nothing an insert can’t fix. Other than that, the only problem I have with these boots is that I can’t tighten the laces snug or tight because that will cause discomfort on top of my foot and around my ankles. I have been wearing them very loose but that hasn’t been an issue at all -phew- I work for Amazon and can walk from 16 to 24 miles a day and other than having tired feet at the end of the day, these boots can take care of your feet. I have normal arches, normal weight, hope this helps you.

Nice boot.

The extra wide width is extremely hard to find. Propet are reasonably priced and extremely durable. I use them for work shoes in a retail environment. I put alot of miles on them. Over the past 3 years I’ve had 2 pairs. One is well worn but still serviceable, the other is like new and will last at least 2 more years. Comfort can’t be beat. Like walking on air. I highly recommend them.
Henry –
I put in $75 orthotic insoles so there very comfortable, my only problem is my pinky toes smashing into the toe box periodically throughout the day, I need more pinky toe room for my wide feet.
Kevin –
Excellent, actually wide enough.

Comfortable from the first wear. Sized correctly
Spencer –
The first and only boot I have ever found to fit my feet. I have extremely wide feet and the toe box doesn’t rub. They are very comfortable and have decent ankle support too.

Cause blisters on my right big and pinky toes. The composite felt too narrow
Berniece –
Perfect fit very comfortable

Blistered my feet despite being the widest offered.
Vhaidra –
They look a little long, but are very comfortable, which surprised me. Probably the most cmfortable steel-toe work shoe that I have ever worn!
Vhaidra –
The best, most comfortable work boots I have ever bought!

Heavy but fairly comfortable. I had to get a wider boot for foot issues. This was a comfortable option
