I am woman who needs a variety of replacements for casual and work shoes. I’ve tried on something like 45 pairs of shoes in the last year, trying to find anything that fit and wasn’t an agony. I have a wider toe, a fairly flat arch and a very narrow heel, which makes almost all women’s shoes slide badly on my heels. I’m not really sure why I decided to order this men’s style, it just looked like the right shape for me. And low and behold, a Men’s 7D fit me, who normally would take a Women’s 9-9.5B This style happens to be the right shape for me. The one significant problem is that there are two extremely rough seams on inside of the tongue of this shoe. I’d prefer to return them for this reason alone, since it’s going to press on the tops of my feet. But I really do need something I can wear right now, so I think I’ll be putting up with this flaw for the sake of the shape and solidity of this shoe, and the reasonable price. It’s a recommendation, with that reservation.

I am a woman. I have a hard time finding women’s shoes in extra wide width. So I thought I’d try men’s shoes. These worked perfect and in fact fit better than women’s shoes for my feet.

FINALLY, I found this shoe that fits my big bunion and hammer tow with complete comfort! So hard to fid a shoe that is comfortable, lightweight and stylish!
Highly recommend for people with funky wide feet and hammer toes!

For over seven years we have been trying to find a way for my husband to be able to wear actual shoes. If not for Crocs with one area cut out to accommodate a foot misshapen by massive bone infection and concurrent breaks, he wouldn’t have been able to be as mobile as he has been. By buying two pairs of differently sized shoes–11D and 10 5E, we found these Propets are the first fit that didn’t tear up the misshapen foot within just yards of trying to walk with them. Each of his widely different size feet have a shoe that fits. We just came back from walking a mile with no visible damage to his heretofore impossible to fit foot.
Though it takes two pairs to make one wearable pair, it’s so worth it to have his feet in actual shoes as winter comes on. I just ordered another duo in the two sizes in black so that he will have a pair in grey and a pair in black.
Thanks again to Propet for this style and the resiliant knitted uppers–and thanks to Zappos for carrying the widest possible range of sizes in widths so we could match the needs of each foot!

They are lightweight and fit well. They were one size too big. Normally I were 17 in almost every other shoe. These shoes run large.

The fit and size were great but the quality is a bit iffy. My forst pair had a torn shoelace. It happens so I returned the hole pair (no shoelaces option) and got a second pair. This one had the bottom peeling apart at the heel so, with more difficulty I returned it. Don;t think I’m gonna try for a third pair. Looking for a better brand now.

I first ordered a size 8 1/2
-5E ,it was about an 1.25 in. long in the toe. I called for a return label and ordered a 8-5E it is still about .3/4 in. —to much toe room, but a’m going to keep them. The width is barley big enough.
I normally ware a size ( 8 1/2 –4E )–i,m hard to fit.
My advice to your costumers would be to order at lest a half size smaller.
Your service is excellent
Thank You —Puff.

I have a special orthopedic insert for shoes that fits perfectly. They are very comfortable and look cool !

After wearing these daily for over a year, I’m really happy I bought these. I walk about 3 miles round trip to the BART (commuter train) each day, with a back pack. Along with putting in gel inserts, these Propets have been excellent. What I really like is that they *breathe* so my feet don’t get so hot during summer months. I was worried that the soles would wear quickly…I admit I was thinking, OK, made in China, maybe not that durable. But I have had to eat my words – the soles are standing up very, very well so far.
The only “caveat” I would note is that like a lot of all synthetic shoes, these can start to retain odor more than leather after a while. It seems counterintuitive but somehow leather seems a bit better at natural bacteria fighting or something. But no worries: what I do is toss my Propets, along with the gel inserts, into the clothes wash with everything else about every 2 weeks. That seems to keep them quite fresh.
All in all quite a good buy, and having the wider sizes is very appreciated. I’ll get another pair or two when my current ones wear out.

Feels great! I read the other reviews and noticed several mention that the shoes were 1/2 to 1 size larger than ordered, so instead of a 9.5, I ordered a 9. It fit perfectly, so I agree with the other reviews about size. I also noticed some of the reviewers who ordered extra wide commented that theirs were too tight. I wear a narrow, so I ordered a regular width, and it is a narrower fit. Recommendation: order a half size shorter than you need and one width greater than you need.

My husband is so hard to fit, and shoes are rarely comfortable. So when he slipped these on, he was thrilled that they not only fit and felt great, but that they were so good looking. In fact, we went back and ordered a second color. He has severe arthritis and bunions, and these shoes accommodated his odd-shaped feet.

These were bought for my son, who loves them. He knew the look he wanted and when he saw these, that was it. When they fit so perfectly, it was a relief; I thought he might buy them for the look. Perfect look, perfect fit, perfectly happy!

We loved this shoe but my husband needs a wider with.

Very nice customer service and love thd shoes.

I bought these to use as an everyday sneaker. They are light and comfortable… a very nice everyday shoe. I was surprised at how light they are! They will be great for packing/traveling. I also really like the color/style. So many shoes have bright colors and logos… these are simple but stylish. I wear them to work with khaki shorts and polo shirt and they look great!

I have wide feet normally a 11 5E would provide room to handles socks & an arch insert. This shoe did it but wish it where a very small amount larger in the toe area.
I wear them planing golf and walking the course and worked fine.
Like the design and arch support along with light weight.
Ordered another pair to wear for dress 11.5 5E will see it they provide that extra area in the toe.

Zappos is GREAT!
The shoe is very good so much so that I bought another pair after receiving the first pair. However the first pair had to be replaced when it lost one of the shoestring loops. Things do happen in life so the real measure of good people and companies is how they react when things go wrong.
I called Zappos the lady on the other end got right to the point and told me to return the shoe and she would supply the replacement of the same shoe immediately as I requested. No hassle just excellent service. I have always like the value and service that Zappos brought to shoe shopping but this was beyond expectations.
Well Done

I did a search on narrow width casual shoes and these were the best looking. I’d never heard of Propét and honestly tried to find out more information about them (including searching in French, as Propét sounds to me like a French word), but there is almost nothing to be found. Nevertheless, I gave them a chance and, while I really like how they look, within 10 days of just wearing around the house plus two short walks around my nearby park I noticed that both shoes were coming unglued from the sole. I returned the shoes and opted for a more well-known brand as replacement.

This shoe was too big in the length for me, size 11. I am struggling with variations in sizes of shoes available in 4E or 5E widths.
I have ordered the Hoka One One Bondi 7 in a 10.5 4E after talking to customer service. We think this will fit as well as my New Balance 10.5 4E 840v4 shoes/
Larry –
The fit and size were just right for me. They felt very comfortable while walking. I bought these because I walk a lot with my dog, at least 5 miles a day. Had them for 6 months and can’t wear them anymore. The heals wore out in the corner and now I can’t walk in them. Started showing wear about a month ago. So if you walk like me these will last less than 6 months.

According to the size chart these should fit, but they were nowhere near the right size for my wide feet. My foot measures 9 3/4 inches long and 4 1/4 wide. The men’s 8 5E was too long and not wide enough.

Shoes started squeaking with every step after two weeks!
Derrell –
I ordered this shoe is a medium width and a wide width. The medium width shoe fit great so I am returning the wide width shoe.
