Paula W –
I have big feet with bunions and these shoes are the most comfortable I have found in a long time. The upper is made of fabric and has quite a bit of stretch to it, making them very comfortable. I bought three pair in different colors because finding a comfortable shoe is so hard for us big footed gals.

Love this shoe. I have wide feet and a bunion on right foot so I don’t bother going into brick & mortar shoe stores anymore because can’t ever find a fitting shoe. This shoe is super light, comfy and cute. Doesn’t look like a wide shoe on my foot. Material feels somewhat stretchy so hugs my foot comfortably, but not pinching. That being said, I noticed some rubbing over my bunion when I first wore the shoe, but it subsequently went away. I’ll be buying other colors.

These shoes are extremely comfortable! I have very wide feet and one squished middle toe which makes finding a comfortable pair of shoes nearly impossible – until I found these sneakers.

This shoe is very uncomfortable. I’ve been trying different insoles to make them comfortable, but no luck so far.

I’ve been wearing Brooks Ariel tennis shoes, but was ready for a new pair of tennis shoes and thought I would try something new.
As someone with wide feet, it was a delight to have these fit comfortably right out of the box, without tightness or rubbing anywhere on the foot.
They are much lighter weight than what I’ve been wearing, and I think they’re more stylish, too. Arch support is adequate for running around town, but I’d love more cushioning in the heel, hence the 4 stars instead of 5.

These shoes are very comfortable and fit my necessary orthotic in the wide. I love the lacy-look which makes them appear slightly dressier than other sneaker-like shoes. the only down-side I noticed is that the soles seem to slip more than usual on both inside and outside surfaces. Not as much as leather soles, but more than I’m used to. I have a disability, so this is a concern, but not enough to return the shoes.

Don’t be put off by the other shoes made by Propet – these are cute, stylish and very reasonable! They look very much like the Cole Haan Perf Trainer, which I’d have bought if they didn’t run very narrow. Somehow, Zappos directed me to these, and they are terrific! As other reviews have said, they’re very lightweight and soft, so they may not be good for hours of tromping over pavement, but they are wonderful in accommodating my bunion and my orthotics (sigh) without looking like orthopedic shoes. Although I have ‘problem feet’ (wide plus a bunion plus orthotics) I am constantly searching for shoes that are stylish – it’s a battle, but these will help. They’re cuter than a sneaker, and fit into that new oxford/athletic niche that Cole Haan has developed and grown. Hooray! Hope Propet will make some others along these lines!

When I first tried on these shoes they felt as comfortable as houseshoes. M-m-m. Then as I walked around I felt there wasn’t much support. I ordered a wider width to accommodate thick socks and kept testing. I finally decided to keep the shoes. Based on a day of traveling through airports I’d rate them okay but not wonderful. They’ll do for quick errands but not much serious walking.

These are nice but not quite as fabulous as I expected after reading other reviews. In all fairness, I have problem feet with a Morton’s Neuroma. I need a wide toe box, which this has. I could wear a medium, but after about an hour my neuroma was complaining a bit, so I got the wide. The points they get for being soft are mitigated by rather weak support. I decided to wear them as inside shoes (home and business which is located at home), which is working well.

These shoes are awesome! Wide toe box, very light weight and comfortable. I have been looking for a shoe like this for several years and these are perfect. I have very wide feet and narrow heels and tough to fit.

I have other Propet sneakers. They all fit well and are size 8 1/2. After reading online reviews on other websites saying these run small, I ordered a 9. The 9 is smaller than the 8 1/2 sizes I own. I returned them. Interesting that most people on this site reviewed at “felt true to size”. I like the style but am afraid to order a 9 1/2 because it seems like they would be too big.

I have duck shaped feet and finding a shoe that looks good, fits my heel, and still allows breathing room for the front is almost impossible. (Thanks, Zappos for letting me try out so many pairs!) These shoes provide excellent arch support and whatever they do the heel absorbs pavement shock. My feet feel great at the end of the day!

these sneakers have no support at all, it’s like walking with no shoes on. Very surprised for a Propet brand.

I immediately pulled out the insert and put in my own. These are little more than styrofoam. I LOVE this shoe though!!!! My insert fits great and the shoes are wide and comfy!

I agree with the reviewer who said these are wonderful shoes in accommodating my bunion and my orthotics without looking like orthopedic shoes. Unlike her, I have narrow feet and these shoes also work for me. The footbed is big enough for the orthotics without looking too clunky. And even though I agree that they belong in the moderate arch support category, once I add my orthotic I can walk in them for hours. They are super comfortable and yes — cute!

I bought these for my Grandmother who is 92. She has a drop foot (foot that doesn’t work) AND severe hammertoes. Finding shoes that she will wear is a challenge to say the least. I have ordered her at least 10 pairs and she has hated them all. She fell and broke her hip last month and she has to have tennis shoes for therapy so I ordered 3 pairs online thinking I’d be returning them all once again. BUT her physical therapist put them on her and she loved them! She said they don’t hurt her feet and the physical therapist told me that was the best she’d ever seen her walk in the month that she has been there! The therapist also really liked how stretchy the material is over her toes because most of her shoes pinch them and the fact that they were a wide width. I am thrilled that she FINALLY found shoes she not only likes but that will benefit her in the long run as well. She likes them so much she told me to order her another pair in black!

There are not words to describe how much I LOVE this shoe! I was looking for closed-toed shoes to take on an 18-day Europe trip and nothing felt right. This popped up as a suggestion and I ordered it knowing nothing of the brand. I purposely went up a size because I wanted to wear my compression socks on the plane. They felt good in my living room but the truth is, you never really know until you wear them all day. I wore them for 19 hours on my travel day and they felt so good I forgot I had them on.
But the real test came a week later, when I wore them for what turned out to be – surprise! – a 6 mile hike through wet and muddy conditions at Plitvice Lakes in Croatia. These shoes were AMAZING. They helped me keep my footing on a very wet trail and they were SO COMFORTABLE. No blisters, no rub marks – I was speechless. I’ve since worn them for miles and miles and they have held up so well that I’m ordering more. I want to have them in case they sell out. This pair of shoes as exceeded every expectation I had and a lot I didn’t know I had. Buy it: you won’t be disappointed!

I have horrible feet. 🙁 I won’t go into gritty details, let’s just say I have multiple issues that have regulated me into orthodics and a sneakers only regime. For years I have convinced myself that the 4x new balance was the only option for me. And lord knows, thanks to Zappos option to try on and return, I have tried. I had almost given up, but I decided to give these a try….and the angels sang! Hallelujah ? They fit, didn’t hurt, easy accommodated my orthotic, didn’t weigh down my feet, and were cute! I actually got two, count them two unsolicited compliments about them! I have happy feet and a smile on my face!

I love these shoes. Extremely comfortable, very flexible and lightweight, perfect for travel. I was able to walk a long ways right away, no break in period. I added my own insert for better arch support and cushioning, but there was still plenty of room in the toe box. I got the silver/ gray color and it has a pretty, lacy pattern. The outside bottom of the shoe has rather large bumps instead of a finer, flatter siped grip, so occasionally small rocks get stuck between the nubs. The grip seems stable, i have not noticed any slipperiness or wobble. I have a wide foot and bunion. These came in extra wide and the material over my bunion is soft.

Bought my first pair and they were so comfortable that I bought a second pair in a different color. Like walking on air!

Even going a size up the width wasn’t quite enough but not uncomfortable, adding that the toe box doesn’t bend at the right point for me it won’t work as going down a size would make the width to tight. Had to return. Material was comfortable though.
RubyB –
I have wide, wide, wide feet. I have been looking for a pair of shoes that were wide enough, comfortable, and as stylish as I could find and I found it with this pair of shoes! The toe box is roomy. I like the color (I ordered the HONEY color). And, because I got the widest width they offer – 4E – I am so happy that these shoes make my feet look fairly good. I can’t say enough about these shoes. Oh, and they are very light as others have mentioned. I would recommend trying this pair as your first choice if width is your main problem.
Eileen –
Beautiful shoe, but bunion showed through soft material, so I bought a half size larger (my proper size apparently) also in 4E.

These have already been worn. I have not even tried these on. I want a new pair.

I have just returned from tromping around historic sites in Athens and Rome. These shoes are delightfully lightweight and fit well, with adequate grip on cobblestones. My feet never hurt!
