These fit my foot perfectly but the instep and ankle were just too tight. I thought of wearing them and seeing if they stretched, being leather, but the hurt too much and made it hard to walk. I just loved them and hated to return them.
I wish all mail order was a great and easy to use as Zappos. They are just perfect.

Bummed about these — they were almost perfect, but each shoe has two zippers with really big zipper pulls. They jingle-jangle around a lot and make a lot of noise when you walk. Why would anyone want such big zipper pulls? I briefly considered using bolt cutters to cut them off, but what would I replace them with? It seems like such a dumb reason to return an otherwise nice shoe, but it will drive me crazy so back they go.

These boots were pretty much what I was looking for in an every day knock-around winter shoe but they were so uncomfortable – it felt like there was no support and sole didn’t offer much cushioning. Going back.

it seemed small… and toe box was small… could have been a bit deeper without compromising the stylishness. Please make more ankle boots with a little deper toe box…desperate.

These are comfortable especially with winter socks. They also support my formerly sprained ankle.

I love these boots. I have very wide feet and have trouble finding shoes that are wide enough and are comfortable. I odered a 9 EE and they are so comfortable and very stylish (the tan reminds me of Frye boots). The insoles are removable, so I replaced them with Dr Scholls gel soles (which I do with all of my shoes). I am going to order another pair in black.

I have ordered four pairs of booties this fall to replace a well-loved pair of more expensive booties and was not happy with any of them until I found these. I have never tried the Propet brand before and am very pleased that I finally gave them a try. I have wide feet, high arches, and bone spurs (really) which make finding stylish shoes at a reasonable price point extremely difficult. If you have a very wide foot and other foot issues, I would definitely give these a try. I will be ordering the brown color as well as trying some other styles from Propet.

I liked these ankle boots they have a little lift and look very nice with pants, the toe box is a little stiff but I think it will soften up as I wear them. So far I would say I would buy them again.

Thank goodness someone is making cute shoes for wider feet! My bunions snuck up on me and now none of my old shoes fit. These are cute, fit well with my orthotics, and are super comfortable. (All the Propet shoes I have tried on are great…weird that this brand doesn’t come up on searches for reviews of brands for wide feet.)

These are super comfortable and cute. I have major issues with my feet. It’s gotten so that I only have 2 – 3 pairs of shoes I can wear. I’ve tried several pairs with Zappos. (Thanks for the easy returns!) I especially have troubles finding shoes that don’t cramp my smallest toe. These are perfect – plenty of room and good support. Yay: success!

Let me start by saying what a difficult time I have buying shoes. I have numerous foot problems including plantar fasciitis, bunions and pronation. I’ve been wearing the same pair of Vionic boots for about six years, because Vionic has discontinued them and they seem to have stopped making comfortable shoes. I have bought and returned more boots and shoes than I care to count-nothing has been comfortable. With these I have finally found a pair of boots to replace my Vionics! I did replace the insert with my own Protalus orthotic for additional support (without it my foot did not have enough stability on the heel, which narrows at the back). The first day I wore them I did a decent amount of walking and my feet were a little achy at the end of the day, but then I wore them to work (with some walking) and they felt good. Toe box is wide enough to not hurt my toe with the bunion (which basically hurts in every pair of closed toe shoes I try). I will be looking at Propet for future shoe purchases!

Nice short boots for dressy casual. Not as much traction on the bottom as I would like. It it’s not bad unless you walk on a lot of ice and snow when going from place to place. The extra wide is wide enough for problem feet and the rounded toe doesn’t make your feet look terrible. Really like the dual zippers for ease of putting on and the removable footbeds for my orthotics. A slight heel for a little lift – not totally flat but not uncomfortable either. Recommended. Nice bootie for wearing to work.

I have had very wide feet my whole life and have always struggled to find good looking shoes that fit me. And when I say wide feet, I mean EE/EEE (don’t you hate it when they say wide but only give you a D?!?). I’m in my late thirties, living in Brooklyn now, so I also need shoes that I can comfortably walk to the subway (and maybe stand up for 30 min to an hour) while still looking presentable for work or going out. These were comfortable right out of the box–no long (painful) break-in period. In fact, the first day I wore them, I took the subway to Manhattan and walked around all day! They are basic looking but look good with pants. I bought them in December and wore them through the winter–with wool socks they kept my feet warm but aren’t too hot when you wear them with thin cotton socks. I didn’t have any issues with icy sidewalks.

I now have these in both the black and brown colors (8 WW). They are comfortable, wide enough for my very wide feet even before they break in a little, and look great. The black is pretty basic–with jeans it gives you a boot shape and looks good. The brown is really a mixture of browns and looks pretty trendy. I like that you can really wear the black shoes with any outfit while the brown shoes act almost more like an accessory and definitely pop.

These boots were stylish and comfortable. Unfortunately I didn’t realize the heel on the boot was so high, and I really need flat boots for my feet. For the few minutes I was wearing them around my house they felt comfortable, but I know that after a short time my problem feet would have hurt. If you d on’t mind a little heel, I say go for it!

These boots just didn’t fit my feet right. I don’t think they would have been properly supportive for me wearing them all day. But even if they were, I don’t think I could have kept them, as another reviewer pointed out, the zippers are really annoying! Too big and noisy, they jangle on your ankles with every step. Returning.
Lina –
Style is ok, but too plain for me. Almost too masculine / army like. A bit heavy. Need arch support. Width is good with the W.

I measure 7EE. These fit perfect with plenty of room in the toe box. I wore them for 12 hours the first day with no discomfort. Love the boots and love Zappo.

Really cute boots with a lot of arch support. Ended up returning because the base felt too wobbly/narrow (am prone to sprained ankles). It’s a bit narrower at the bottom than at the widest part of the shoe/foot, and that paired with the slight heel is just not a good combo for someone like me. I liked the brown color a lot and it seemed like it was made from quality materials. Many thanks to Zappos for being a source of shoes in my size and easy returns when things don’t work out!

Just want to mention that the dual zippers are an interesting and honest look, but they jangle incessantly, which is a deal-breaker for me. They make you sound like you are walking around with spurs on your boots.
Jane –
I love that theses booties have 2 zippers. They fit well but would be hard to get on without the 2nd zipper. Thank You. My only complaint is they are so stiff and hope it doesn’t take too long to break them in. I love finding boots that fit my double wide feet.

These were not comfortable. Not wide enough; zippers hard to close.
NCmomof2 –
Jingle all the way, the zippers are so annoying on these boots! They clang and make so much noise, I really could not focus on anything else when I tried them on. I ordered the tan color in a size 8.5 wide. My feet are 25.5 cm long, I typically wear a medium width size 8. These felt about like that size. For the price, I thought the color was a bit yellow, poor cushioning, no insulation, no padding around the ankle, so probably would need some serious breaking in, if I had kept them. The soles and heel black material are extremely hard, not rubber feeling. I do not think these would do well in any slippery or wet weather, not grippy at all. I saw another reviewer mention that the heels are narrower than the boot, so they felt unstable, and I agree with this. Overall, very disappointing boot, and my least favorite feature are the excessively long zipper pulls that make a lot of noise when walking. They are about 1/5 inches long, not as obvious in the photos. And overall just not a cute boot. Happily returned and love Zappos for their great return policy!
Daisy –
I love the leather, such a great tan. However, these boots do make my feet look a little clunky. The zippers do tap and make noise when I walk but I don’t mind. I had to add an extra layer of padding to make these comfortable enough to walk around the city. Width is good for my wide feet and developing bunions.

The soles are very comfortable, though I wish there was more arch support. The shoes look like the picture and feel well made. Unfortunately, they did not fit my feet. I ordered a 10.5 Wide. The ankle, heel, and center of the foot were way too wide while the toe box was way too narrow for me. It felt like the proportion of the shoe was really off.
